My email to the editor of the Rebellion Blog by Johnny UnReconstructed

Rebel, I appreciate your hard work with the Rebellion Blog. I find you one of the few voices of reason in this ever darker world. You are attempting to address the real problems AND solutions affecting our Southland, culture, and hearts. I expect nothing but lies and nonsense from the Cultural Marxists. However, I have little patience for our own side, from the Stupid Party, the Republicans. With regards to education, the Republicans are just like Marco Rubio and his immigration dream.

I just read a April 22nd, 2013 news story or editorial by a one Terry Stoop entitled "Ending Teacher Tenure: A chance to raise standards in NC." His second sentence reads: "High-quality teachers produce superior academic outcomes for students, regardless of a child's challenges and circumstances." Seriously? When Terry Stoop, the director of research and education studies for the John Locke Foundation, makes such irrational comments as these, he reminds me of Marco Rubio sincerely believing that once we grant amnesty that we won't call amnesty to millions of illegal aliens that they will magically vote Republican.

Dissect Terry Stoop's comments. Stoop's comments are really no different than the Cultural Marxists. Equal outcome results. It stresses equality over liberty. It focuses on unnatural outcomes over natural abilities. I wish Phil Berger and Terry Stoop would answer the following questions:

1.When has a superior teacher ever magically bestowed superior academic outcome for ALL students: White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, White Hispanic, Mixed Race, rich, poor, middle-class, old, young, male, female, students with so-called disabilities, and students without so-called disabilities?

2.Why do we continue to ignore one the two white elephants in the room? Why do we ignore the growing rate of children born out of wedlock and the children affected by the horror of divorce? To address those issues would involve judging some one's life choices. And, we can't judge can we? Why don't we admit we have turned public schools into a daycare for all students and a Dr. Spock Psych Ward for all students affected by divorce and the breakdown of the American family? Parents have abdicated their responsibilities as parents, yet to address that issue means cowardice, political suicide, or ignorance. What difference does it make if you hire good teachers and kids go home to their unstable homes as parents merely ignore them? Even worse, reward them for mediocrity and failure because parents feel sorry for their kids because of the life choices made by the parents.

3.The second White elephant in the room. Race. For whatever reason, Blacks and Hispanics reject Academia. We have dumbed down Whites and Asians to move a very few amount of Blacks and Hispanics just a few notches. Why do we see or participate in White Flight, yet ignore the very reasons why Whites and Asians flee from Blacks and Hispanics. There is a reason for White Flight and it doesn't get put on pause when students go to school. Look at the behavior problems in public schools. Where do a large percentage of them originate from? Why do we ignore the obvious? What difference does it make if you have a good teacher if Blacks and Hispanics go home without any parental oversight and continue their perversion into rap music and sexual promiscuity?

4.Terry Stoops signs his newspaper piece with "Terry Stoops, a former classroom teacher, is director of research and education studies for the John Locke Foundation." Please tell me Mr. Stoops, if you are so proud of being a teacher, then why are you still not teaching?

Do our public schools need reforming? Of course. But, if people are not willing to address the problems and solutions you write about in the blog, then we are just changing from one stupid party to the next. Even worse, the children continue to suffer as we play political games while never addressing the real problems in the room. I could have written a better email, but this letter will have to suffice. I feel like we are merely replacing band-aids on a wound, when what we need is a life-saving procedure on a life-threatening wound on an almost dying, lifeless body. What good does it make to apply stitches and band-aids to a wound where an artery has been cut? We need life transforming solutions affecting our land, our people, and our culture. But, instead, we get a different doctor called a Republican desiring the same shoddy results all in the name of Equality. God help us.
Sincerely, Johnny Unreconstructed
